Join us as we “serve” up nights of opportunity. These are a chance to be with your friends, have some fun, and support the future of tennis in Southern California.

These are evenings of impact that make it possible for:

• Inner-city children to play tennis for the first time
• People with disabilities to learn skills and have fun
• Wounded veterans to build self-confidence
• Promising juniors to have a chance to pursue their tennis dreams
• Seniors to have fun and enjoy a sense of community
• Low-income populations to have an equal opportunity to play the game
• Youth to attend programs that combine studying and tennis skills
• Hosting events and tournaments that showcase top players

Richard Evans, a hugely respected long-time tennis journalist and author of 23 books, will join Charlie for this special evening to trade behind-the-scenes stories and tennis history from the 1960s to the present day. Richard is a fellow inductee in the International Tennis Hall of Fame and a longtime friend of Charlie. Finally, Joel Drucker, a historian-at-large for the Hall of Fame and co-author of Serving First, will moderate what is sure to be a lively and engaging conversation.

A full bar, four stations of hors d’oeuvres, great stories, and autographed copies of Charlie’s book for all attendees are included at a cost of $125 per person. All proceeds after costs will be donated to the SCTA Foundation.
