Last call to apply for the Victor Stern Scholarship Grant to junior tennis players ages 8 to 18, who have a passion for tennis and wish to pursue the sport. Players must have a record of competitive play and wish to continue playing tennis as well as having a goal of pursuing a post-high school education. A total of two grants will be awarded: to one female and one male residing in Southern California. The deadline is August 31.The award amount will be up to $1,200 and can cover the cost of tournament fees, travel expenses and equipment.  Eligibility requirements include displaying good sportsmanship and having strong grades. Priority will be given to those from minority and low income populations.
