The Southern California Tennis Association Foundation is pleased to announce it is the recipient of a grant from the San Diego Foundation.  This grant will be used to promote youth development through increased accessibility and affordability of tennis in Southern California.

This award is co-sponsored by the Junior Tennis Center/San Diego Tennis Patrons Fund at the San Diego Foundation, and the mission for all is to make tennis an equal opportunity sport.“We are grateful for this support because it will enable us to work toward our goals of changing lives and communities through tennis,” said Linda Milan, the Executive Director of the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation. “We can better reach kids who will thrive with access to tennis lessons, equipment and programs in schools, clubs and recreational organizations.”

The benefits of bringing tennis to kids includes better health, fitness, fun, friendships and the development of self-confidence to name a few. We support people, programs and organizations of all cultural, economic and diverse backgrounds. We also support promising young players, seniors and adaptive or wheelchair tennis.
