Tennis Fest is back for players of all ages and stages, families, fans, pros and enthusiasts from Noon to 4pm on Sunday, May 15 at Balboa Tennis Club in San Diego. The annual event is presented by the San Diego District Tennis Association and co-sponsored by the SCTA Foundation, USTA So Cal, Balboa Tennis Club, the USPTA and many more.

Admission is free and the community event is open to the public. It offers fun tennis for kids and adults on all 25 courts at Morley Field with various tennis activities. In the past, there were approximately 75 volunteer pros and 1,000 attendees, who enjoyed the free clinics, vendors, music, raffles, prizes and awards.

“The SCTA Foundation is proud to help support this fantastic event,” said Linda Milan, the Executive Director for the SCTA Foundation. “It’s one of the largest pubic community play days in the country.”

The tennis festival begins at Noon and clinics are from 1 to 3pm followed by an exhibition match, the Ben Press Award presentation and raffle prizes on the stadium court.  Free t-shirts will be given to participants on a first-come and first-serve basis but supplies are limited. Pre-registration is not needed so just come and join the tennis fun.  The location is Balboa Tennis Club at 2221 Morley Field Drive, San Diego, CA 92104.

If you would like to volunteer on the court as a teaching professional or coach please SIGN UP HERE. If you would like to assist off the court, contact Paulina Rassavong at (858) 761-8600.
