Calling So Cal Tennis Fans:

You can be at the heart of the pro action as a volunteer for the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation at the San Diego Open Men’s ATP 250 and/or Women’s Tennis Association 500 Pro Tourney. The dates for the men’s event are September 17 to 25 and the women’s will be on October 8 to 16. Both will be held at Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego.

As a volunteer, you will be greeting visitors, giving away foundation swag and providing information. (We will give you info about the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation.) Shifts will be four hours long and you will receive lunch/dinner. Also you can stay on site to watch the matches before or after your shift. As a way of saying thanks, we will also provide Southern California Tennis Association Foundation/San Diego Open T-Shirts.

“There will be some amazing pro tennis played in both men’s and women’s tournaments and as a volunteer you are right there to see it live and in person,” said Linda Milan, the Executive Director for the Southern California Tennis Association Foundation. “Join our team and help us share spread the word about our mission of making tennis an equal opportunity sport.”

If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, please sign up HERE or contact Linda Milan at lmilan@scta.usta.com. We look forward to seeing you this fall.
