About Karen Ronney

Karen Ronney is an award-winning national coach, author, speaker, mentor and marketing specialist. She holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Tennis Management from San Diego State University. A USPTA Elite and a PTR Professional certified teaching pro; Ronney was recently named the 2020 High School Coach of the Year by both the USPTA and the Racquet Sports Industry. She was a National USTA 10-and-Under Faculty Member, USTA Tennis Service Representative and a 10 & Under Tennis Target Market Specialist. As a journalist, she was a staff writer for the Chicago Tribune, LA Times, LA Daily News and the San Diego Union Tribune. She used her tennis and writing skills to author Proud Parents’ Guide to Raising Athletic, Balanced, and Coordinated Kids, winner of 34 publishing awards. Ronney is currently the Marketing Director-Consultant for SCTA Foundation and resides in Southern California.
